Tables and Chairs Tips
- Tip!
When setting up your room, leave at least 5 feet between tables to
allow room for your guests and an walkway between tables.
- Tip! Serpentine
tables add interest to a standard buffet. They are an excellent
choice for carving stations and bars.
- White slat folding chairs are very popular. They are equally suited to
casual as well as elegant events.

Linen Tips
- Be sure
linens are dry before you place them into the bags as mildew can
ruin fabric.
|
China Tips
- A base
plate or charger will add elegance to any table setting.
- Our baroque
white china is a new addition and has been very popular.
Carry your event theme to your china to create the look you want.
We're sure to have a style to fit with your event.
- Tip!
When ordering china for a set table, a 5% cushion is a widely
accepted figure to over-order to help insure you have enough
dishware for your event.
- Remember!
Buffets
require more dishes, and the more food stations you have, the more
plates you will need.

Glassware
Tips
- Tip!
Glassware can be used in centerpieces; as votive candle holders,
filled with colored sands, or as bud vases.
- All-purpose
glassware can help you simplify. A large wine glass or goblet can be
used for wine, water, tea etc...
- Don't
overlook glassware for food presentation. Champagne and martini
glasses can also be used to serve anything like desserts-mousse,
jello or ice cream.
- Rule
of Thumb! There
is none! The type of event and the beverages served will determine
what glassware you will need. Ask our consultants for
recommendations when placing your order.

Flatware
Tips
- We
have a style of flatware for every occasion.
- Remember!
A
full place setting is not required for every event. We rent by the
piece so you only rent the pieces you need.

Chafing
Dishes Tips
- Light
Sterno for your chafing dishes 30 minutes before use - start with
hot water if possible - and check them often to make sure they
remain lit.
- Extra
food pans will save time and energy. Keep backup pans full and hot
for easy switch-out when your buffet is getting low.
- Place
chafers at an angle on your buffet for a more interesting look.
- Don't
forget the serving pieces! We carry serving forks, spoons, tongs and
spatulas. When ordering, tell us your menu and we can help make sure
you get the right pieces

Tray Tips
- We carry many styles of trays and platters including
silver. Use a variety of styles and shapes to create
your buffet.
- Place
trays at different heights across your buffet. It's the eye that
will first draw your guests to your buffet. Treat your guest's eyes
as well as their stomachs, to create a memorable event!

Silver
Service Tips
- Brightly
polished silver lends elegance to your formal events.
- Tip!
A 19" Silver tray is the perfect accompaniment to to our silver
coffee urns.

Our
grills are a portable and easy way to turn any site into a
gourmet kitchen. all Barbecues are charcoal.

Bars
- Our
portable bars are quick and easy to setup.
- Carry
your theme to your bar! We can provide skirting and drapes in an
array of colors and fabrics that can dress up your bar.

Dance Floors
- Our dance
floors and stages include installation in their pricing. Delivery
is not included however.
- The
most common dance floor we rent is a 21' x 20'. This will
accommodate
a party of approx. 200 people.

- Our
stage can be setup at 8", 16" or 24" tall. We can provide
skirting, stairs for stages. Call for details.

- If you
are ordering a stage for a band or D.J. ask them what size stage
they require to do their job. We can only give you approximations.
